Foodie Tour in Sardinia, a fun way to understand and enjoy the island through the guidance of passionate guides who will be, forever, your best friend in Sardinia.

Day 1, Arrival in Cagliari, you'll be greated by your own sardinian private guide and specialized local insider Ivo (pronounced: Ee-vo). Quick orientation of the city and a cold refreshing drink before dine and relax in the romantic area of Marina.


Day 2, Visit to the colorful local market of San Benedetto. Ivo will teach you how to recognize the right products for your tomorrow's dinner. In the afternoon discover the 'museum village' of San Sperate and its secret corners.  


Day 3,  Today walk through ‘nuraghe Arrubiu’, an archaeological site on Su Pranu plateau, which dates back to around 1500 BC. One of the most important and impressive megalithic monuments on the island.  This evening, experience life in a traditional Sardinian home as you learn to prepare typical dishes using your market purchases. In the cozy atmosphere of this rustic kitchen, the favors of Sardinia come together as you discover the secrets of recipes passed down through generations and feast on their simple perfection. A private concert of the Launeddas, a typical Southern Sardiania woodwind instrument made of three pipes with complete this day's experience.


Day 4, Discover the wonderful taste and flavour of a sardinian wine, evidence of love and passion for the land and wisdom of generations. Meet the little wild horses which find refuge in a parc hidden in the heart of Sardinia. Leaving the plateau, you will travel to the village of Riola Sardo in the west of Sardinia where you will spend the night. Upon arrival in Hotel 'malvasia' wine tasting. 


Day 5, Chose the best fish by the local sardinian fisherman, reach the bay, in front of S'Archittu -an impressive limestone arch- seat on the rocks with your feet in the water and prepare the fish for the evening dinner. Enjoy a glass of Vermentino wine and 'salsiccia' with cheese...then you're ready to prepare the evening fish meal!


Day 6, Discover a village located at the foot of the southern slope of the chain of Montiferru, land of 'Slow Food'. The village feature an exquisite tradition of gastronomy and wine, based on products of local farmers and shepherds, area of the cow-milk 'Casizolu' and  of th 'Bue Rosso''s meat (Red-ox).  Say good bye to your new friends accompanied by one of the best 'abbardente' of the region (spirit).


Day 7, Arrivederci in Sardegna!
